Dr. Cynthia E. McKnight, widely known as Dr. CeCe , is an ordained Pastor, consecrated Apostle, published author, national speaker, and respected leader at the intersection of faith, mental health, and social advocacy. Her work is distinguished by its depth, discipline, and unwavering commitment to restoring lives through both spiritual truth and practical application.

Dr. McKnight holds a Doctorate in Theology and Christian Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with additional academic training in Medical Administration. Her leadership journey includes serving as a Police Chief in a small town in the Mississippi Delta — a role that shaped her executive leadership style, strengthened her resilience, and cultivated her deep compassion for individuals navigating crisis and trauma.

Nationally, Dr. McKnight served as the National Senior Manager of FaithNet with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), where she played a strategic role in bridging faith communities and mental health advocacy across the United States. Through national initiatives and partnerships, she helped elevate conversations surrounding emotional wellness within spiritual spaces, equipping leaders to address mental health with theological integrity and practical insight.

A passionate and outspoken advocate for domestic violence awareness, Dr. McKnight has spoken at conferences nationally, addressing the critical intersection of trauma, mental health, and faith. Her advocacy is rooted in both professional understanding and pastoral compassion.
